Our Mission

LocalWino.com strides to be a comprehensive resource while providing an open local discussion forum where people with a wine affinity can share information about any level of their wine experience with the hope to build a wine community in every major city in North America and eventually worldwide.

Who We Are

Quite simply, we’re everyday wine lovers that feel as though there was a strong need for people to share information about wine at a local level. So much about wine is overwhelming, and what better way to learn than to be amongst your peers…at whatever level you enjoy wine. There are plenty of places to read the “expert” opinions or reviews, and we support that. We recommend a few of these places as well. What we are about is making your wine experience more personal and more ‘at home’ with other people just like you and me who wish to share our own opinions or findings while always willing to learn more about wine.

What We Do

In summary, we provide an open free vehicle to share and we’ve done all the work researching resources so you don’t have to. We created and developed LocalWino.com as a free resource that you can browse, research, learn, discuss or share everything about wine quickly and easily from your desktop. The key to our site is the ability to join local discussion forums to share your discoveries or find additional information needed in your same vicinity. We’ve also done the groundwork and partnered with various wine websites that we feel enhance your wine knowledge or gives you access to key industry information.
